On Sunday, February 25th, members of the Salem, Colchester, Bozrah, and Lebanon Fire Companies completed the 2nd day of the State of Connecticut Aerial Strategies and Tactics class. The class practiced setting up on buildings in Salem, including the Salem Fire House, Salem Marketplace, and the Salem School. This type of training helps determine the best locations for operators to position the aerial apparatus at fire scenes.
